This workshop will be led by Kristine Skeie, our Executive Board Member. She is a screenwriter and past winner of NFMLA’s On Location contest as writer, co-director, and co-producer for the short This Is My LA. She also wrote and co-produced an award-winning comedy short, End of the World. After relocating from NY, she spent her early career in television production and co-authored two screenplays that sold to major studios. She has written several award-winning scripts and is an avid volunteer. Kris spearheaded the joint venture of Arts Alive and the Writers Workshop at a local Elementary School back in 2010 serving as the chairperson and coordinator for seven years and continues to participate as a presenter. Kris has been on the Board of Directors for Girls IN Focus since its inception, serves as the Program Director and is a member of several other GIF committees.
